Background:
I started as a sophomore Schreyer Honors Scholar majoring in Chemical Engineering. I joined CurtisLab in the Fall of 2015 as a member of the plant propagation team. I was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania (Home of The Office). At Penn State, I am a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers as well as a Crew Leader for The Mix at Pollock Commons. In my (limited) free time, I particularly enjoy any outdoor activity (especially if it involves water), and I am an intermediate level billiards player.
Projects:
Thesis Project: I am working toward kickstarting a project on the expression of cyanovirin-1, an anti-HIV protein, in cyanobacteria

Awards: Revieved first place for poster at AICHE National meeting.
