Sergio's co-authored paper on Squid protein bioplastics publishes

In a collaboration with Dr. Melik Demeril, the proteins from squid sucker 'ring tooth' which have unique bioplastic properties were cloned and recombinantly expressed in E.coli.
The paper was published in Advanced Functional Materials:
Materials Fabrication from Native and Recombinant Thermoplastic Squid Proteins.
