Background:
I am an out-of-state student that is participating in the Research Enrichment for Undergraduates program at Penn State. This program has allowed me to join Curtis Lab during the summer of 2015. I am a rising sophomore at the University of Louisiana and my major is Chemical Engineering. I have worked as a research apprentice at ULL. There I worked on a project that involved analyzing surfactants for their ability to remove volatile fatty acids from wastewater.
Projects:
I am working with the Algae group with a particular focus on examining SRT expression in cyanobacteria.
