Benson Chong
Background:
I have lived in State College since 2011 while completing my B.S. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and conducting research in the Center for Eukaryotic Gene Regulation. Since graduation, I’ve worked for a Analytical Flavor Systems, a New York-based tech startup that was founded in State College before joining Curtis Lab.
My hobbies include hiking with my dog Archie, mountain biking, and tennis. I write music under the name Honeydiu and co-run a Pittsburgh music label called Raw Broccoli.
Projects:
I am currently the Project Integrator for the DARPA Insect Allies project, which includes responsibilities in assisting in gene cloning/transformation and growing tomatoes in the greenhouse.
