Here is a collection of videos demonstrating the various basic tasks needed to get started in Curtis Lab.


All students in the laboratory must complete extensive lab safety training that includes chemical and biological safety.  Read and complete the reading of all of the policies associated with our Lab Safety Procedures document.
There are extensive procedures that must be followed for disposal of both chemical and biological waste.  

All students that work in research laboratories of Chemical Engineerin must complete chemical handling training.

Culture Strain Collections
(someone needs to take on this project of collecting details of our bacterial, algae and cell lines)

        Plant tissue culture:  Nicotiana benthamiana cell suspensions, Tobacco root lines
